Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:22, 9 September 2020 (UTC) Copying within WikipediaCopying within Wikipedia is totally fine; Everything is licensed for anyone to reuse for any purpose! But only under the condition that you credit the original author, so if you copy within Wikipedia, you need to note as much in the edit summary, where it was copied from, to give the original authors credit and so that any reusers can also do so. WilyD 12:40, 13 November 2020 (UTC) Thank you for the help WilyD! I will make sure to credit the authors as I make those edits over the next few days. Thanks for looking through my article and helping me with corrections. Heatherkong (talk) 18:01, 13 November 2020 (UTC) Hi WillyD! Thanks for providing the link for me to look for which authors to credit. Since there are a lot of authors that worked on the sections that I copied over, do I need to go back and look through all of the history since the beginning of the article to credit everyone, or is it sufficient to provide a link to the revision history to credit the authors? Also, where should I be crediting them? Thank you!
Idea for an articleHi Heather, I noticed you said you were from California, have you considered doing an article on Gentrification in Los Angeles? // Timothy :: talk 18:44, 13 November 2020 (UTC) Hi Timothy! Thanks for the great suggestion. I would be happy to help out. Are you currently working on a page for that? Heatherkong (talk) 22:05, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
A Barnstar for you!
