Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited SkyGreece Airlines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Non-stop (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
The Eurovision season is in full-swing, with many national selections taking place. Be on the look out for reliable sources and news content that may be used to keep the 2013 article as up to date as possible. There are also a couple of project discussions taking place at WT:ESC, it would be helpful if as many of the project members participated in them. Afterall it is your contributions that helps to keep this project alive. You have a voice, use it. Please could we also help to improve the articles listed below, they vary from stub articles that require expansion, to general tidy-up and additional sources required.
As always, be on the look out for potential new members to the project. Post {{subst:EurovisionInvite}} (which will produced this template) on any user page you think is interested to join the WikiProject, to officially invite them to join.
And finally the ABU Radio Song Festival 2012 article has been awarded GA Class making it the project's second annual article to have been awarded this accolade. Congratulations to all those who helped to contribute to the article. Happy editing!
Please remember to keep checking the project articles that have been flagged up as an alert. Since our last publication the following are listed as alerts:
Please can we also remember to keep this article well presented based on the layout that was agreed upon via the Project RfC. If in doubt, check Eurovision Song Contest 2012 as an example. That article is using the new layout format and gained the project it's first GA-class on annual pages. Let's maintain that high standard.
Also remember to communicate with fellow project members via the article talk or Project talk page, as communication is an important tool if we aim to collaborate as part of a team.
Please only add countries who have explicitly stated they will be competing, citing a reliable source. Anything not cited may be removed. If in doubt - ask someone for an opinion!
ABU Radio Song Festival 2014 - It was announced on 11 October 2012 that the 2014 Radio Festival will take place in Australia hosted by radio broadcaster ABC Australia.
As it is too soon to start work on the new article, can we please try and avoid creating one. Unless of course, there's enough information out there that would warrant an early creation.

Hello. WikiProject Eurovision Newsletter - March 2013
Your monthly ProjectEurovision newsletter has arrived. Click show to open.
Eurovision-fever is vast upon us with all songs and artists having already been selected, and the contest itself is just around the corner. So we as a collective need to be as vigilant as possible when it comes to content being updated to respective articles connected to Malmö 2013. Please remember to use citations to reliable sources on everything. If in doubt, then use the article talk page and/or the project talk page for open discussion.
The project has yet again gained another accolade on an annual article with the ABU TV Song Festival 2012 receiving GA classification. That is now 3 within a year, with the first being Eurovision Song Contest 2012 back in July last year, and ABU Radio Song Festival 2012 being the second last month. Congratulations once again to everyone who has helped to contribute to those respective articles. Now that we're gaining high accolades, let's see if we can maintain that by continuing to work as a team.

The second ABU TV Song Festival is scheduled to take place on 26 October 2013, in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi. The host broadcaster will be Vietnam Television.
With less than a month to go until we find out who is the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, the article itself is already looking impressive and is written with such broad scope and covering almost every piece of news in an encyclopaedic style of course. The show hasn't even started and the article is looking very much like a GA-class article. Well done everyone for helping to maintain the high standards of editing on articles as well as engaging in open discussion via the talk pages. Hopefully this should be helping to increase team moral with the project - keep up the good work folks! The ABU have announced the host city for the ABU TV Song Festival 2013 which is due to take place on 26 October 2013. Please could everyone keep a look out across the worldwide web for any news on the festival itself and update the article accordingly.
On a different note, if anyone is feeling a little bit bored and looking for things to do, then why not help to improve the articles listed below, they vary from stub articles that require expansion, to general tidy-up and additional sources required. It is your contributions that help to improve Wikipedia's sustainability and legacy of being one of the largest reference websites. As always, be on the look out for potential new members to the project. Post {{subst:EurovisionInvite}} (which will produced this template) on any user page you think is interested to join the WikiProject, to officially invite them to join.
Please remember to keep checking the project articles that have been flagged up as an alert. Since our last publication the following are listed as alerts:
This article is coming along very nicely. Very impressed that members are adhering to the layout style and working cooperatively and peacefully as a team. Already the article is looking like a promising GA classification similar to Eurovision Song Contest 2012, and the contest hasn't even begun. Continue with the good work.
The contest itself begins next month, so please keep an eye out for any latest news that may be relevant for inclusion to the article. If in doubt, then open up a new discussion thread either at Talk:Eurovision Song Contest 2013 or the Project talk page, as communication is an important tool if we aim to collaborate as part of a team.
The second ABU TV Song Festival is scheduled to take place on 26 October 2013, in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi. The host broadcaster will be Vietnam Television.
The article is already up and running. Your help to improve the article is gratefully appreciated. Keep a look out for news articles regarding participations etc. So far only the host nation Vietnam are confirmed.
ABU Radio Song Festival 2014 - It was announced on 11 October 2012 that the 2014 Radio Festival will take place in Australia hosted by radio broadcaster ABC Australia. Well we have a winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, and the 2014 article is already up and running. However, the work on the 2013 edition is still not complete. Over the next few weeks many editors will be doing the final clean-up operation on the article, and we hope to achieve yet another GA classification on the article in the coming months. We will of course keep you all updated of the progress via the newsletter.
But if you are already starting to get Eurovision withdrawal symptoms, then don't panic. We have the ABU TV Song Festival in Vietnam to look forward to, as well as the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. Your contributions to both of these articles are gratefully appreciated. Remember it is teamwork collaborations that help to make this project a success.
As always, be on the look out for potential new members to the project. Post {{subst:EurovisionInvite}} (which will produced this template) on any user page you think is interested to join the WikiProject, to officially invite them to join.

In what is becoming a regularity with new Eurovision articles, they are potential subjects to vandalism, so be on guard and revert any vandalistic edits.
Also make sure you only add verified content to the article, including countries that have confirmed.
Avoid using the term "possible debut", "possible return", and "possible withdrawal". The term possible makes us sound speculative and is prohibited per Crystal Ball guidelines. Any such information should be added to the "Other countries" section, with a citation for verifiability.

ABU Radio Song Festival 2014 - The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) have confirmed that the 2014 Radio Festival will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka hosted by national broadcaster MBC Networks. Another month has gone by and with plenty of ups and downs within this project. An RfC has been rebooted on the project talk page (see Project Alerts below for more details). The OGAE articles are undergoing a complete rewrite to make these articles look more presentable and give more encyclopaedic value to them. They were in a disastrous and neglected state previously, so it is about time they got some well needed TLC treatment given to them all. Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is looking near completed, and in preparation for a GA-class submission. A huge thank you to all those who have contributed on that article in the last 12 months - some WikiLove to everyone for your continuous teamwork.
For those of you who have got Eurovision withdrawal symptoms, then don't panic. Please remember to keep checking the project articles that have been flagged up as an alert. Since our last publication the following are listed as alerts:
There is a RFC taking place on the project talk page which could do with as many members contributing to it. Your say will help to achieve consensus on how '[Country]' in the Eurovision Song Contest articles should be stylised and written more encyclopaedically for the general audience and not just for the average ESC-fan. Please KEEP IT CIVIL!!!
Eurovision Song Contest 2013 will shortly be going through the annual process of a post-Contest tidy-up, in preparation for a GA-class submission. We will keep you posted of that process in due course.
OGAE and other articles relating to the organisation are going through an extensive rewriting exercise. Some of the article were in a very poor state, with the lead section of OGAE being an exact word-for-word copy of the "about us" section of OGAE's Facebook page. This was a violation of WP:COPYVIO, and has now been averted thanks to Wesley's hard work fixing the articles.

A semi-protection has been placed onto the article to prevent further disruptive and unsourced editing from IPs. The protection expires in September 2013.
Remember to use reliable sources at all times. Anything unsourced and/or is using an unreliable source will be removed. A list of some reliable sources can be found by clicking here.
Avoid using the term "possible debut", "possible return", and "possible withdrawal". The term possible makes us sound speculative and is prohibited per Crystal Ball guidelines. Any such information should be added to the "Other countries" section, with a citation for verifiability.
Also make sure that you regularly communicate with fellow project members via article talk pages. Communication is a natural human skill, and we should be trying our best to discuss things with each other, so that we all know what is going on. None of us are mind-readers.
The second ABU TV Song Festival is scheduled to take place on 26 October 2013, in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi in the Opera House. The host broadcaster will be Vietnam Television.

And finally, the newsdesk are looking to recruit a couple of project volunteers to assist in compiling the monthly newsletters, as one of the co-ordinators has taken an indefinite period of time away from Wikipedia due to personal reasons. For more details see here.

Following a project community discussion, which was raised over the use of English translation columns on annual contest articles, and advice from the lead coordinator of The Guild of Copy Editors, who are extremely knowledgeable in regards to all editing practises and manual of style policies. A consensus decision has been reached to fully remove ALL English translations, as such content falls under the prohibition on original research, even if it seems helpful to the reader. This is because we have now to assume that every reader has access to automated translation tools that can always give them a sense of the meaning of the title in their native language; it is not Wikipedia's job to provide those tools for the reader. Which therefore means we are no longer to include an English translation column, nor are we to provide translation by any other means on contest articles.
Such information is currently in the process of being removed, and a new table formatting and layout style is being rolled out across all articles. Please view the new guidance on table layout at Wikipedia:WikiProject Eurovision/Format and Guides#Article layout. An example of the new table layout style can also be access via the collapsed section within this message. Thank you.

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa.08:57, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Kalomoira Live Greek NF 2008.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Kalomoira Live Greek NF 2008.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ℯxplicit01:29, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
