If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place Speedy deletion nomination of Sør-Fron ChurchHello Erik den yngre, I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sør-Fron Church for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia. If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Anastasia (talk) 20:15, 19 March 2013 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for March 31Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. September 2013Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Churches in Norway may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks for making an excellent start on this topic. I really enjoyed reading your introduction. I was wondering whether it would be useful to add more details of the interiors, especially perhaps the carved altarpieces and pulpits from the Medieval period. I believe a number of Norwegian churches also have frescos from the same period. Maybe also a word about more recent developments in religious art.--Ipigott (talk) 09:16, 20 September 2013 (UTC)

New skiing navbarHei hei !! I've taken my first crack at creating a navbar template, and I've added to the bottom of skiing. Check it out! Could be useful to add to various skiing articles? Or maybe we don't like templates? I'm not sure yet. Med vennlig hilsen --Cornellier (talk) 23:05, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
Good Article reviewsHi Erik den yngre, I suggest that, since we are hoping someone will take the time to review Cross-country skiing as a Good Article, it would be appropriate if we did the same for other candidate articles. If you are willing, you will find articles waiting for review at Wikipedia:Good article nominations. Timeline of OsloHello, Erik den yngre. You have new messages at Talk:Timeline of Oslo.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template. Hi, TranslationHi Erik, The Cross-country skiing (sport) article gives a translation, as follows: "In Norwegian, langrenn refers to 'competitive skiing where the goal is to complete a specific distance in groomed tracks in the shortest possible time.'" Since grooming in English implies a machine and the term, langrenn, predated grooming, would it not be more accurate to say, "In Norwegian, langrenn refers to 'competitive skiing where the goal is to complete a specific distance in pre-set tracks in the shortest possible time'"? Sincerely, User:HopsonRoad 03:55, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
BirkebeinerrennetHi Erik, I've commented out material from your last edit at Cross-country skiing (sport) , which is not supported by the ref. The Birkebeinerrennet site says "Men 85 years and older". The ref is about a single individual. I feel that this level of detail belongs more properly at the Birkebeinerrennet or Worldloppet Ski Federation articles. Sincerely, User:HopsonRoad 15:37, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
WordingHi Erik, I don't understand your sentence in X-C (sport): "Competition also takes place within classes or age groups," Specifically, what are "classes" as distinct from "age groups"? There is nothing in the references in English that support this. I also find it awkward that some material is supported by references in Norsk in this English article—it's a little hard to verify material or to read further with such material. Cheers, User:HopsonRoad 22:21, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

I have reverted your edit since the text that I removed, and you re-added, has nothing to do with the etymology of "Norway"/"Norwegians" but is about the etymology of the word Norman ("Normand" in French), and thus doesn't belong in the article. Especially since it can make readers believe that everything referred to as Norman/Normand refers to Norway and Norwegians. And we have problems enough with editors believing that everything that refers to Norse/Norseman is about Norway exclusively, instead of all Germanic-speaking Scandinavians, i.e. also Danes and Swedes, and thus claiming that everything that was Norse was exclusively Norwegian. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 12:28, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

My question to you originated from the existance of the Norwegian articles of Sissel Lie in 1988 among others Isabelle de Charrière. https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sissel_Lie Sissel Lie, ‘Kvinnerolle og identitet. 'Moderne' bevissthet i noen franske kjaerlighetsromaner fra Princesse de Clèves (1678) til Corinne (1807)‘ In: Edda. Nordisk Tidsskrift for Litteraturforskning / Scandinavian Journal of Literary Research, 4 (1988), p. 354-360. She also wrote about her ‘Sjelen har intet kjønn : kvinner og kjærligheten i franske romaner på 1600-tallet og 1700-tallet.’ Oslo: Aschehoug, 1988. Isabelle de Charrière is mentioned too in https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filosofi%C3%A5ret_1740 So I'll hope you do it or find someone to do it. Boss-well63 (talk) 16:02, 30 March 2019 (UTC) I note your complaint about IP vandalism on the article. Another admin noted the edits are not inherently vandalism. This is a case where dispute resolution may be in order. However, and as I have warned the other user, you must not engage in an edit war and continue to revert the changes. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page. If editors, yourself included, continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. N.J.A. | talk 18:49, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
