User talk:Day000WalkerNovember 2008Welcome to my talk pageFeel free to post your feedbacks.Arshan abbas 08:12, 17 March 2010 (UTC) You have put my page 'Subsea Valley' for deletion. It is in good intention, and I am willing to make it as reliable as possible, however there are limited sources which I can add as references. It has been a research project I have done, and I will further update this page. Please tell me, what else is needed. I am very new to editing in Wikipedia. Thanks! March 2009Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Great Mosque of Cordoba has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. EdBever (talk) 18:53, 22 March 2009 (UTC) Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Timeline of antisemitism. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. dougweller (talk) 19:32, 22 March 2009 (UTC) AdoptionI would be happy to adopt you! In future, if you have any problems, questions or anything you are wondering about, please leave a message for me on my adoption sub-page and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Speedy deletion nomination of Jamia LiveA tag has been placed on Jamia Live requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding New messageI have left a new message for you at User:Strdst grl/adoption. This is the last time I will leave a note here, so please watch the page from now on. strdst_grl (call me Stardust) 10:03, 28 February 2010 (UTC) ContentsTo be continued Chris Hull (physicist)Arshan, it is recommended by Wikipedia:Stubs that stub tags go at the bottom of an article, so I am moving the tag you placed here. --Merond e 21:38, 4 April 2010 (UTC) Samsung YP-S3JAB/XAAI did not delete this Samsung YP-S3JAB/XAA because it was nominated as a spam. There was some promotional text, which I removed. Unless the article is almost entirely advertising, then it does not qualify for the db-spam. db-policy is totally inappropriate for an article. Nominating an article multiple times for speedy deletion can become disruptive. So you should use AFD to get a debated consensus. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 06:52, 5 April 2010 (UTC) Another point is that the db tags for articles go on the article page, not on the talk page. Only specific delete tags for talk pages go on the talk pages, such as for G8 talk page for article that does not exist. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 07:03, 5 April 2010 (UTC) Wikipedia:Meetup/Pune/Invite
Meetup - 26 Speedy deletion nomination of Castle Age
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Castle Age, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add The article Castle Age has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons. You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing I think this is different from the page that was deleted in 2009. It is about a Facebook game. I was searching about it on Wikipedia and was unable to find any cues. With my sole experience I drafted it in my sand box and finally posted it here. I think it should not be deleted, as it is there to serve a purpose to impart knowledge about this game. I am seeking editors to improve the quality of article and making it more helpful to the needy. I have drafted how to play this game here and not just described it. I would like to welcome you to put your contribution.Arshan.abbas (talk) 18:54, 23 February 2011 (UTC) Castle Age FACI have removed the FAC nomination, since there is absolutely no way that Castle Age meets the FA criteria, particularly when the article is currently at AfD. Standard procedure is to delete such nominations, so I have done that as well. Regards, BencherliteTalk 21:08, 28 February 2011 (UTC) Talkback___ AdoptionHi Arshan.abbas. I see we've chatted about adoption before! I know I had a snoop at your edits for a month or so after you requested it and didn't see anything particularly bad. But I take it you'd like a more formal process? I see you've already answered the first lot of questions! Well, if you can give me a couple of days, as I'm quite busy at the moment, I'll try to get you set up with an adoption page, where we can go through things, you can ask questions and so on. Any queries in the mean time, let me know. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it. As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012. If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so. You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way. ssriram_mt (talk) & AshLin (talk) (Drive coordinators) Delivered per request on Wikipedia:Bot requests. 01:12, 12 March 2012 (UTC) The Helpful Bot 01:12, 12 March 2012 (UTC) Requesting GuidanceHello. I'm new to the wiki community and would like to start working on editing the Property Insurance page with the help and collaboration of more experienced contributors from Project Finance Participants. There is a recommendation that the Chartis article be merged with AIG's page. I think the Property Insurance page could be strengthened with parts of AIG's page since it shows how current events and emerging trends effect it's regulation by the government. Hurricane Sandy and updated payouts of the WTC are not on the Property Insurance page either - which to me seem to be relevant. Do you think adding more information would be beneficial to the Property Insurance page? If so would you be interested in collaborating what facts should be included? Any response would be kindly appreciated. Thank you.Lgkkitkat (talk) 03:45, 15 May 2014 (UTC) Asian 10,000 Challenge inviteHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:42, 20 October 2016 (UTC) The article Sanjeev Sharma (writer, lyricist, film maker) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created. Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work. Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying.
