Main page complimentHi, it appeared to me like you did a lot of the work in planning how to recognize the Apollo 11 anniversary this week, and I wanted to make sure you saw a compliment from a reader on WP:VPM. (I would have mentioned it where the discussions were but seems like there were many in different places.) Schazjmd (talk) 16:41, 21 July 2019 (UTC)

Hey bud, quick note to let you know I was impressed by the move discussion you raised here. It's sorta fascinating how controversial "Death of..." article title moves can be, even when the logic seems obvious. Perhaps all the controversy that surrounds these talks reflects the emotion that surrounds the subject of death and dying. Don't get discouraged if the RM doesn't work. Emotion often trumps reason over the short term. But in the end, the truth will out. NickCT (talk) 02:57, 18 January 2020 (UTC)

Two different people with the same name, Marieme LoThanks for your edit to Marieme Lo at https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Marieme_Lo&diff=1208741892&oldid=1156486634 I am pretty sure that the academic and the basketball player are two different people. The basketball player was born in 1972, while the academic was born in 1966 according to the library catalog entry for her PhD dissertation. The basketball player attended Central State University, while the academic attended several different institutions including one in Paris for her undergraduate degree. The academic uses a middle name or initial, while the basketball player does not. I am also posting this message at Talk:Marieme Lo, where you may want to comment. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:56, 20 July 2024 (UTC) RequestHello. In the "Attack" section of the 2024 Hezbollah headquarters strike article, can you actually display the specific bomb Mark 84 bomb with its name, which has been obscured in the Wikilink under the label "2,000-pound bombs", when the other bunker buster bombs like BLU-109 bomb are displayed with their names in the article? (Also, if units have to be displayed, both the metric and imperial units must be displayed in Wikipedia articles, not one or the other. 95% of the world population use only the metric system.) Thank you.
