Good luck! P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

Jay Jay the Jet PlaneThanks for reverting Jay Jay the Jet Plane. How can I make a revert? System of the WorldThanks for supplying that quote--I'll recategorize the books myself. I had always assumed that they were placed there simply because most of his previous books were science fiction, but wasn't aware that he supported the idea. PiThere are several published discussions of what Plato's number theory and geometry may have meant. Some of them, and most of those on the web, are tosh. I do not recall the exact reference in Popper, except that it is a footnote to the first volume of The Open Society (the last to chapter 10??) Fortunately, Popper's books are usually exhaustively indexed. Good luck. Septentrionalis 02:09, 7 September 2005 (UTC) Image Tagged as Fair UseGreetings. Thank you for uploading Image:UncleScroogeNo21.jpg. This image has been tagged as fair use. Please add a detailed rationale for each use, as described on Wikipedia:Image_description_page, as well as the source of the work and copyright information. Please take a look at the WikiProject to see if there is anything that interests you. If you have any comments or questions, feel free to contact me. If enough people express an interest, it would also be very easy to create additional daughter WikiProjects, such as a Northern California WikiProject or a California Politics WikiProject. It has also more than seven months since the 2nd Los Angeles area Wikipedia meetup ([ 26 September]] 2005), so it is time for another one. There have also been California meetups in San Diego (18 October 2005) and a very small one in Santa Barbara (8 April 2006. It's also about time that the Bay Area gets its first Meetup if anyone is willing to organize it. BlankVerse 06:35, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Mr. HeroHey, nice work on the Mr. Hero article. Any plans to create articles for other Tekno Comix properties? Watchsmart 06:46, 22 March 2007 (UTC) Image copyright problem with Image:Gamecomwithbox.JPGThank you for uploading Image:Gamecomwithbox.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. I just wanted to make sure I understood your comments regarding this image. I saw your initial comment and updated the image to include copyright information (I took the picture and have intended to release the copyright to GNU). I saw your comment "I've deleted this as a copyright violation", which must mean you have deleted it from the list of images in copyright violation, and not that you have deleted the image because of a copyright violation. Please let me know if the image requires more info from me, and thanks for your tireless improving Wikipedia! -Armaced 18:48, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
ARSWiki LinkHi Michael. I saw a link to the arswiki.org site from your user talk page. I updated the link to hit the domain only without the /wiki/index.php?x since that no longer works. Thanks for the hits. Don't know your last name, but looks like you are a Remedy enthusiast much like myself. Axton Grams Non-free use disputed for Image:RemedyCorp.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:RemedyCorp.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:59, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use Image:Garlick_2.jpgThanks for uploading Image:Garlick_2.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 21:50, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 16 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license. If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Paris, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paris basin. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
