Merging of articles in Whitemouth RM
Hello,
I am just following up on the merging of articles into the Rural Municipality of Whitemouth. Generally when dealing with RM articles, the format is to provide a short list of communities in the RM and any specific RM history to that page. Large and specific history sections of each community, such as the Elma article, should generally remain on the specific community's page. It appears that this RM page is out of format. Hello. In a recent edit, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. Nonetheless, both spellings work for Wikipedia, so whether or not you want to spend your time on a relatively trivial (granted, I'm not an avid golfer) matter is down to you. Happy gnoming! Hi, I'm not sure if pings work on IPs so I'm hoping this message works. I've added a few citations to the article El Dorado Rum, and I was wondering if you had any feedback. I'm ambivalent with regards to deletion, but my gut tells me it will result in a keep + a lot of AfD drama. Maybe you have some good ideas for culling/cleaning up the article? Thanks for that! I often forget to check what-links-here. I added 2, but in context of the company, which sort of reinforces the name change I proposed. I think major rum manufacturers are relevant to the sugar industry section of Agriculture in Guyana and Guyana Sugar Corporation, but both articles are in shoddy state. Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. I noticed your recent edit to Capital Scotland does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

bypasses the redirect, makes the link more concise, and avoids a somewhat redundant mention of Belgium. Do you have a reason we shouldn't to change it back?
