The title says "Elections in El Salvador". I added a missing election in El Salvador. This navbox was already used in 1982 Salvadoran presidential election, so I added that link to this template per WP:BIDIRECTIONAL: Every article that transcludes a given navbox should normally also be included as a link in the navbox, so that the navigation is bidirectional. This is a basic editing guideline. – Jonesey95 (talk) 13:10, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The WP:BIDIRECTIONAL guideline has a strong consensus. Also, the 1982 article literally describes the event as a "presidential election"; this template lists "Presidential elections". Any layperson would expect the 1982 presidential election to be linked in this navbox, as evidenced by the addition of this navbox to the 1982 article. – Jonesey95 (talk) 13:25, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Panam is correct that there is a longstanding consensus not to include indirect elections in this template series. I have resolved the bidirectional issue by removing the template from that article. Cheers, Number5717:37, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
