Sōja Station
Sōja Station (総社駅, Sōja-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Sōja, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. It is jointly operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) and the third sector transportation company, Ibara Railway Company[1] LinesSōja Station is served by the Hakubi Line, and is located 10.7 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Kurashiki and 26.6 kilometers from Okayama. It is also the northern terminus of the 20.4 kilometer Kibi Line from Okayama and the 41.7 kilometer Ibara Railway Ibara Line from Kannabe. HistorySōja Station was opened on February 17, 1925 as Higashi-Sōja Station (東総社駅). It was renamed on November 1, 1959.
