Daianji Station (大安寺駅, Daianji-eki) is a passenger railway station located in Kita-ku of the city of Okayama, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. HistoryDaianji Station opened on February 25, 1914 as a temporary stop by a local merchant who was also a shareholder in the Chugoku Railway. It was upgraded to an official station on November 23, 1928. With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company.
