It is the second-largest Reformed denomination in the country, after the English-speaking Presbyterian Church in Cameroon , a member of the World Communion of Reformed Churches ,[ 1] as well as the World Council of Churches .[ 2]

The church is composed of six synods and 25 consistories (or presbyteries). The ECP is in close relationship with the PCUSA.[ 2]
