Petrovce nad Laborcom (Hungarian: Petróc) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia. HistoryIn historical records the village was first mentioned in 1254. GeographyThe village lies at an altitude of 118 metres and covers an area of 10.217 km2. It has a population of about 980 people. EthnicityThe population is about 99% Slovak in ethnicity. CultureThe village has a small public library and a football pitch. TransportThe village has a small railway station and two bus stops.
