Myself World Tour (Chinese: Myself世界巡迴演唱會 台北安可場) is a live video album by Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai. It was released by Warner and Mars on October 19, 2013. The album features live performances from her Myself World Tour, recorded at Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan, on December 22-23, 2012, along with a music video for one song.[1] The album includes songs for which Tsai had previously secured licensing agreements with her former record labels, D Sound and Sony, making it her most comprehensive live album to date.[1] The album achieved commercial success, reaching number one on Taiwan's weekly video album sales chart and becoming the top-selling video album of 2013 in Taiwan.[2][3] BackgroundOn August 13, 2010, Tsai released her eleventh studio album, Myself. The album sold over 65,000 copies in Taiwan and ranked fourth on the annual album sales chart for Taiwan in 2010. It also topped the sales chart for female artists in Taiwan that year.[4] On December 24, 2010, Tsai launched her third concert tour, the Myself World Tour, at Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan.[5] On September 14, 2012, Tsai released her twelfth studio album, Muse. The album sold over 95,000 copies in Taiwan, ranking third on the annual album sales chart for Taiwan in 2012. It also secured the top spot on the sales chart for female artists in Taiwan that year.[6] On April 13, 2013, the Myself World Tour concluded at Kaohsiung Arena in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.[7] The tour lasted two years and four months, spanning 35 shows across 31 cities worldwide, with over 600,000 attendees and a box office revenue exceeding NT$1.5 billion.[8] Release and promotionOn September 27, 2013, Warner announced that the live album for the Myself World Tour would be available for pre-order starting October 2, 2013, and officially released on October 19, 2013. The album was issued in two versions: the standard edition and the limited edition. The former included 39 live performance tracks and a music video for the song "Journey", while the latter added behind-the-scenes footage of the tour, a duo pole dance performance from the Kaohsiung show, and a specially re-shot solo pole dance performance video. Warner revealed that some of the tracks included in the album were licensed from Tsai's former record labels, D Sound and Sony, making it the most comprehensive live album in her career to date.[1] On October 2, 2013, Tsai held a pre-order press conference in Taipei, Taiwan, where she also announced a series of autograph events: October 19 in Taichung, October 20 in Kaohsiung and Tainan, and October 27 in Taipei.[9] On October 18, she hosted a premiere event on the "Great River Queen" cruise ship at Tamsui Ferry Pier in New Taipei City.[10] The album achieved commercial success in Taiwan, topping the weekly video album sales charts across several major retail outlets, including Books.com.tw, Chia Chyun Record, Eslite, G-Music, and Five Music.[2] On November 6, 2013, Tsai held a special exhibition titled Myself World Tour Exhibition at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei, which showcased 16 costumes from the tour as well as select stage props. The exhibition ran until November 10, 2013.[11] By the end of 2013, the album had ranked 3rd on Kuang Nan's annual video album sales chart and 1st on Five Music's annual video album sales chart.[12][3] AccoladesOn March 27, 2014, the album received the award for Best Concert Video at the inaugural QQ Music Awards.[13] Track listing
