Cushenberry was selected by the Denver Broncos with the 83rd overall pick in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.[11] Cushenberry was named the Broncos starting center going into his rookie season.[12] He made his NFL debut on September 14, 2020 when he started in the season opener against the Tennessee Titans.
