Kapušany
Kapušany (Hungarian: Kapi) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia. HistoryIn historical records the village was first mentioned in 1248. GeographyThe municipality lies at an altitude of 280 metres and covers an area of 11.3 km2 (4.4 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[1] PopulationIt has a population of about 2,264 people (2020-12-31).[2] Popular ImageIt is well known internationally through the popular polka tune, "Ja parobok z Kapušan" ("I am a bachelor from Kapusany").
