Gorgin (Persian : گرگين )[ a] is a village in, and the capital of, Gorgin Rural District of Korani District , Bijar County , Kurdistan province, Iran .[ 4]

The village is populated by Azerbaijanis .[ 5]
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 272 in 72 households.[ 6] The following census in 2011 counted 247 people in 74 households.[ 7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 231 people in 81 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[ 2]
