Buin-e Sofla (Persian : بوئين سفلي )[ a] is a city in, and the capital of, Nanur District of Baneh County , Kurdistan province, Iran .[ 4] It also serves as the administrative center for Buin Rural District .[ 5]

The city is populated by Kurds .[ 6]
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,069 in 206 households.[ 7] The following census in 2011 counted 1,458 people in 324 households.[ 8] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,518 people in 403 households.[ 2]
