Condica illecta
Condica illecta is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in both the Indo-Australian and Pacific tropics, including Borneo, Hawaii, Hong Kong, India, New Guinea, the Society Islands, Taiwan and Queensland and New South Wales in Australia.[citation needed] It is also present in New Zealand.[1] The wingspan is about 40 mm. Larvae feed on various Asteraceae species, including Ageratum houstonianum, Bidens pilosa and Calendula officinalis. Pupation takes place in the soil. References
