Aron Walsh
Aron Walsh (born February 28, 1983) is a chemist known for his research in the fields of computational chemistry and materials science.[1] Early life and educationWalsh received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Trinity College Dublin. He went on to complete his PhD in computational chemistry at the same institution.[citation needed] His postdoctoral research included a Marie Curie Fellowship at University College London and a fellowship at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the United States.[2] Academic careerWalsh began his academic career as a Royal Society University Research Fellow at the University of Bath, where he also served as a professor of Materials Theory.[citation needed] He holds a faculty position at Imperial College London leading the Materials Design Group.[3] Research contributionsWalsh's research integrates quantum mechanics with data-driven machine learning and multi-scale modeling approaches.[4] Awards and honours
