At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 6,022 in 1,542 households.[6] There were 5,837 inhabitants in 1,760 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 5,162 in 1,740 households. The most populous of its eight villages was Gaz-e Gharbi, with 1,883 people.[2]
