Pertempuran Madagaskar
Pertempuran Madagaskar adalah upaya sekutu untuk merebut Madagaskar yang dikuasai Prancis Vichy selama Perang Dunia II. Pertempuran ini dimulai pada 5 Mei 1942. Pertempuran ini berakhir pada 6 November.
Pertempuran ini diakibatkan oleh kemungkinan bahwa Jepang dapat menggunakan Madagaskar sebagai basis kapal selam untuk mengancam rute persediaan Sekutu.
