Norman Gary Finkelstein (lahir 8 Desember 1953) adalah ilmuwan politik, aktivis, dosen, dan penulis Amerika Serikat. Bidang penelitian utamanya adalah konflik Israel–Palestina dan politik Holocaust karena termotivasi oleh pengalaman orang tuanya yang merupakan korban selamat Holocaust. Ia merupakan lulusan Universitas Binghamton dan mendapatkan gelar Ph.D di bidang ilmu politik dari Universitas Princeton. Ia memegang jabatan fakultas di Brooklyn College, Universitas Rutgers, Hunter College, Universitas New York, dan Universitas DePaul (sekaligus dosen pembantu sejak 2001 sampai 2007).

Pada tahun 2007, setelah terjadi perselisihan antara Finkelstein dan Alan Dershowitz, masa bakti Finkelstein di DePaul dihentikan.^[1] Finkelstein dikenai cuti administratif untuk tahun akademik 2007–2008, dan pada 5 September 2007, ia menyatakan pengunduran dirinya setelah menerima ganti rugi dari pihak universitas.^[2][3] Dalam pernyataan resminya, DePaul membenarkan keputusannya untuk menghentikan masa bakti Finkelstein sambil menyatakan bahwa keputusan tersebut tidak dipengaruhi oleh pihak luar.^[4]
