John Riady (lahir 5 Mei 1985) adalah CEO Lippo Karawaci dan Direktur Lippo Group,[1] sebuah perusahaan investasi yang dikendalikan oleh keluarga Riady, Ia adalah orang Tionghoa-Indonesia, cucu dari pendiri Lippo Group Mochtar Riady, sekaligus putra tertua mantan CEO Lippo Group James Riady.[2]

Pendidikan

Setelah Lulus dari SMA Sekolah Pelita Harapan, lalu melanjutkan studinya di Georgetown University, Wharton School of Business, jurusan Filsafat Politik dan Ekonomi. Ia juga menerima gelar MBA dari University of Pennsylvania—lulus sebagai Palmer Scholar—dan Juris Doctor dari Columbia University Law School. John juga anggota Asosiasi Pengacara NY.

Janji temu Pro bono

Pada tahun 2012, World Economic Forum menunjuk Riady ke Dewan Agenda Globalnya.[3] Beliau juga merupakan Dewan Penasihat Internasional Fakultas Hukum Universitas Columbia, dan Ketua KIKAS-KADIN,[4] Komite Bilateral AS-Indonesia di Kamar Dagang dan Industri Nasional Indonesia (KADIN).

Keluarga Riady

John Riady merupakan cucu dari Mochtar Riady. Keluarganya mengendalikan Grup Lippo, yang mengelola perusahaan di bidang properti, layanan kesehatan, jasa keuangan, ritel, teknologi, dan pendidikan di Asia. Investornya termasuk GIC dan Temasek, dana investasi negara Singapura, Mitsui; Khazanah, dana Kekayaan Negara Malaysia; dan CVC Capital Partners, sebuah perusahaan ekuitas swasta yang memperoleh keuntungan tiga kali lipat dalam tiga tahun dengan bekerja sama dengan Lippo dalam pembelian jaringan department store Matahari mereka.[5]
