Harry Govier Seeley (18 Februari 1839 – 8 Januari 1909) adalah seorang paleontolog asal Britania Raya.^[1][2]

Seeley menentukan bahwa dinosaurus dapat dibagi menjadi dua kelompok besar, yaitu Saurischia dan Ornithischia, bedasarkan ciri sendi dan tulang pinggul mereka. Ia menerbitkan hal ini pada 1888, dari sebuah materi yang ia telah sampaikan setahun sebelumnya.^[3]
