Fulton J. Sheen

Fulton John Sheen (nama lahir Peter John Sheen, 8 Mei 1895 – 9 Desember 1979) adalah seorang uskup (kemudian uskup agung) Gereja Katolik Amerika Serikat yang dikenal karena berkotbah di televisi dan radio. Ditahbiskan menjadi imam Keuskupan Peoria pada 1919,^[1] Sheen dengan cepat menjadi teolog terkenal, meraih Cardinal Mercier Prize for International Philosophy pada 1923. Ia mengajar teologi dan filsafat di Catholic University of America serta menjabat sebagai imam paroki sebelum diangkat menjadi Uskup Auksilier Keuskupan Agung New York pada 1951. Ia memegang jabatan tersebut sampai 1966 saat ia diangkat menjadi Uskup Rochester dari 21 Oktober 1966, sampai 6 Oktober 1969, saat ia mengundurkan diri^[2] dan diangkat menjadi Uskup Agung takhta tituler Newport, Wales.
