Eugène Ionesco (lahir sebagai Eugen Ionescu, pengucapan bahasa Rumania: [e.uˈd͡ʒeni.oˈnesku]; 26 November 1909 – 28 Maret 1994) adalah penulis drama Rumania dan Prancis. Lonesco lahir di Slatina, Provinsi Olt, Rumania. Ia dianggap sebagai bapak "teater absurd".[1]
