Ayesha Jalal PhD (Punjabi, bahasa Urdu: عائشہ جلال) adalah seorang sejarawan Pakistan-Amerika yang menjabat sebagai Mary Richardson Professor of History di Tufts University, dan penerima MacArthur Fellow 1998.
Lahir di Lahore, Jalal belajar di Wellesley College sebelum pindah ke Trinity College, Cambridge dimana ia meraih gelar dokterandes pada 1983. Ia singgah di Cambridge sampai 1987, bekerja sebagai fellow Trinity College dan kemudian sebagai Leverhulme Fellow. Ia pindah ke Washington, D.C. pada 1985, untuk bekerja sebagai fellow di Woodrow Wilson Center dan kemudian beralih menjadi sarjana akademi di Harvard Academy sampai 1990. Pada 1999, ia bergabung dengan Tufts University sebagai profesor.[1][2][3][4]
