Finals series

The league's top two teams play in the qualifying final on 16 April, the winner of which proceeds directly to the Grand Final. The third and fourth-placed teams played an Elimination Final on 15 April, with the winners proceeding to a Preliminary Final on 22 April against the loser of the semi-final. The winners of the Preliminary Final proceed to the Grand Final on 30 April.

On 12 December 2022, the Australian Professional Leagues announced that the Grand Final would be hosted in Sydney,[47] a move which received considerable backlash.[48][49]
