在表观遗传学中，副突变（paramutation）又称類突變，是单个基因座上两个等位基因之间的相互作用，其中一个等位基因诱导另一个等位基因发生可遗传变化；此为一種打破常規的遺傳模式。這種情況首先在玉米中發現，隨後在其他植物、真菌、甚至小鼠中發現^[1]。而，用玉米所做的研究指出副突變是由RNA引導的^[2]。
