Evoxymetopon macrophthalmus[1] är en fiskart som beskrevs av Chakraborty, Yoshino och Iwatsuki 2006. Evoxymetopon macrophthalmus ingår i släktet Evoxymetopon och familjen Trichiuridae.[2][3] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[2]
