Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan keaktifan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam penguasaan metodologi penelitian bidang konseling, terutama keterampilan merumuskan masalah penelitian, keterampilan memilih teori yang relevan dengan masalah penelitian, keterampilan merumuskan tujuan penelitian, keterampilan memilih metode penelitian, keterampilan memilih teknik sampling, keterampilan memilih teknik pengolahan data, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam memahami metodologi penelitian bidang konseling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini mahasiswa semester VI berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antusiasme dan aktivitas mahasiswa meningkat dengan penerapan metode Project-Based Learning. Proses pembelajaran metode Project-Based Learning dapat meningkatkan penguasaan mahasiswa tentang metodologi penelitian bidang konseling, Project-Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa, khususnya metodologi penelitian kuantitatif bidang konseling, dengan Project-Based Learning mahasiswa mendapatkan pengalaman langsung dalam mengerjakan tugas sesuai dengan project yang disiapkan sebelumnya.Abstract:The study objective was to increase the students’ activities and skills in mastering the research methodology in the field of counseling, especially the skills in formulating research problems, selecting theories relevant to the research problems, formulating research objectives, selecting research methods, selecting sampling techniques, and selecting data analysis techniques, and to improve the students’ learning outcomes in understanding the research methodology in the field of counseling. This study used classroom action research method in two cycles. The research subjects were 32 students of the sixth semester. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of the study indicated that; the students’ enthusiasm and activity increased with the application of Project-Based Learning method. the learning process using Project-Based Learning method could improve the students’ mastery about research methodology in the field of counseling, Project-Based Learning could improve the students’ learning outcomes, especially quantitative research methodology in the field of counseling,  and with Project-Based Learning, the students got on hand-experience in doing assignments in accordance with the project prepared in advance.
