Abstract: The current developmental study was intended to analyze the determinant factors which affected the quality of occupational stress which experienced by teachers who taught special education in inclusive schools in East Java as the basis to develop a module of managing stress due to working. The analysis results of the exploratory study suggested that most teachers (66.33%) of special education in inclusive schools experienced moderate occupational stress. The contributions of the internal and external variables to occupational stress experienced by teachers of special education included: gender (12.32%), age (4.16%), working status (5.34%), salary or income (3.57%), the suitability of the prajabatan background study (6.76%), the achievement motivation (22.75%), and the interest of position (12.25%).Keywords: occupational stress, internal factors, external factors.Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menganalisis determinan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas stress akibat kerja yang dialami oleh guru pendidikan khusus yang bekerja pada sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif di Jawa Timur sebagai dasar pengembangan modul pengendalian stress akibat kerja. Hasil analisis eksplorasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar (66,33%) guru pendidikan khusus (GPK) di sekolah inklusif mengalami stress akibat kerja dalam kategori sedang. Kontribusi variabel internal dan eksternal terhadap stress akibat kerja yang dialami guru pendidikan khusus (GPK) meliputi: jenis kelamin (12,32%), usia responden (4,16%), status kepegawaian (5,34%), pendapatan atau gaji (3,57%), kesesuaian latar belakang pendidikan prajabatan (6,76%), motivasi berprestasi (22,75%), dan minat jabatan (12,25%).Kata kunci: stress akibat kerja, faktor internal, faktor internal.
