ABSTRACT This study aims to formulate a model of partnership between the Local Government (LG) and the company in order to solve the poverty problem effectively in the mining industry. The method of this study is descriptive qualitative by techniques of data collection that are observation, in-depth interviews, and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The results showed that the principle of Corporation Social Responsibility (CSR) which used by PT Antam Pomalaa was a principle that more directed to the principle observer of social interest. The social responsibility concept of PT. Antam realized by an internal commitment to achieve the trust between communities and companies, established a better corporate image, and created an investment for business continuity and medium enterprises in contributing the social, economic, and good environment for the surrounding community. Partnership model which done by PT. Antam Pomalaa toward the local communities as poverty alleviation efforts in the Southeast was a productive partnership model, which put partners as a subject and in the public interest paradigm. The principle of mutual benefit was very strong on this pattern. Key words: model partnerships, social responsibility, corporate, poverty
