パヴェル・ウラジミロヴィッチ・イェレメイェフ

パヴェル・ウラジミロヴィッチ・イェレメイェフ（Pavel Vladimirovich Eremeev、ロシア語表記:Павел Владимирович Еремеев、1830年3月9日（ユリウス暦2月25日）- 1899年1月9日）は、ロシアの鉱物学者である。サンクトペテルブルク科学アカデミーの鉱物研究所で働いた。

略歴

サンクトペテルブルク科学アカデミーの鉱山研究所を1851年に卒業し、所員としてトゥーラ州の炭鉱の地質調査の仕事に従事した[1]。1856年にはウラル山脈、アルタイ山脈で資源調査の仕事に従事した。

1859年にドイツのフライベルク鉱山学校、ライプツィヒ大学、フランスのパリ国立高等鉱業学校に留学し、西欧の鉱物博物館を訪れた後[1]、1866年にサンクトペテルブルク科学アカデミーの鉱物研究所の結晶学と鉱物学の教授に任命され、その仕事をほぼ終生続けた。1894年頃名誉教授に任命された[2]。

鉱物研究所での仕事の他に、森林学研究所、工業学校、鉄道学校でも講義を行った[1]。1874年から1880年の間にはロシア皇帝アレクサンドル2世の皇子、セルゲイ・アレクサンドロヴィチとパーヴェル・アレクサンドロヴィチに鉱物学と地質学を教えた。

サンクトペテルブルク科学アカデミーの会員のほかに、サンクトペテルブルク鉱物学会の事務局長を22年間務め、1892年に鉱物学会の会長となった[1]。

研究分野ははじめ、鉱物学や結晶学とともに、古生代の堆積岩の地質学的研究も行ったが、その後ロシア産の鉱物の結晶学、鉱物学研究に専念した。多くの研究論文を、サンクトペテルブルク鉱物学会の紀要や海外の学術誌に発表した。

アルミニウムホウ酸塩鉱物のジェレメジェバイト（Jeremejevite）がイェレメイェフに献名されている。
