La turkestérone est un phytoecdystéroïde présent dans de nombreuses espèces végétales, comme Ajuga turkestanica[2], mais aussi diverses espèces de Vitex[3],[4],[5], Triticum aestivum[6], et Rhaponticum acaule[7].
