The Cold Sun es el primer álbum de estudio de la banda británica de metalcore Loathe. El álbum fue lanzado el 14 de abril de 2017 a través de SharpTone Records.[5]​ The Cold Sun es un álbum conceptual sobre dos protagonistas en un mundo post-apocalíptico.

El álbum recibió críticas positivas de los críticos musicales y la banda fue nominada a mejor banda nueva en los Premios Metal Hammer Golden Gods de 2018.[6]​
