Yan Souto
Yan da Cruz Souto (born 5 October 2001), known as Yan Souto, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a central defender for Juventude. Club careerBorn in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Yan Souto began his career with hometown side União ABC before moving to Londrina in 2018. After leaving in 2021, he returned to his former club, and made his first team debut in the year's Campeonato Sul-Mato-Grossense.[1] On 7 January 2022, after a brief period at Boston City Brasil, Yan Souto signed for Floresta, reuniting with former manager Ricardo Drubscky.[2] On 11 March, after just five matches, he was presented at Série A side Goiás.[3] Yan Souto made his top tier debut on 19 June 2022, starting in a 1–0 away loss against Corinthians. He was loaned to Série B side Vitória on 27 March 2023,[4] helping in the club's promotion as champions. Back to Goiás for the 2024 season, with the club now in the second division, Yan Souto played regularly before joining top tier side Juventude on 19 July of that year, signing a contract until 2026.[5] Career statistics
