Xylem Learning[1][2] is an educational technology company based in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. The company provides coaching for competitive exams such as National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), and Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM).[3] It also provides academic support for students preparing for school exams (CBSE and Kerala State Boards)[4] HistoryXylem Learning was founded in 2020 by Ananthu S.[5] Since its inception, Xylem has expanded through both online platforms and physical centers across Kerala.[6][7] Since its inception, Xylem Learning has experienced significant growth, expanding its services through both online platforms and physical centers across Kerala. Partnership with Physics WallahIn June 2023, Xylem Learning entered a strategic partnership with Physics Wallah.[10] Physics Wallah invested ₹500 crore to acquire a 50% stake, aiming to expand the company's reach in South India.[11][12] Legal issuesIn 2024, Xylem Learning was involved in a legal dispute regarding NEET UG. The Supreme Court of India ordered the National Testing Agency (NTA) to respond to a notice filed by Xylem Learning on behalf of its students.[13][14] The Supreme Court of India questioned the company's standing in the matter, asking, "What right does a coaching centre have to file a petition?"[15] Future PlansXylem Learning is focused on expanding its reach and improving its educational offerings as part of its long-term strategy.
