Xamiatus rubrifrons
Xamiatus rubrifrons, also known as the red-jawed bearded wishbone spider,[2] is a species of mygalomorph spider in the Microstigmatidae family. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 1981 by Australian arachnologist Robert Raven.[1][3] Distribution and habitatThe species occurs in south-east Queensland in the Conondale and D'Aguilar Ranges. The type locality is closed forest near Booloumba Creek in the Conondale Range.[1][3] BehaviourThe spiders are terrestrial predators.[3] References
