Can someone help me get Masi Asare into the mainspace?Hello, I hope I'm writing in the correct place. I really got into it with another wikipedia editor who won't let me add Tony-nominated writer Masi Asare to the list of notable alums from the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, because she doesn't already have a Wikipedia page. To my knowledge, she's the only Black person on that list, and so for her not to get to be on it, I think is a travesty. So, I wrote this Draft:Masi Asare. And I'm wondering if either a) anyone on here has the authority to move her to the mainspace, so she can finally officially have her page or b) if no one does, if anyone is interested in looking the draft over and seeing ways they may be able to make it even better, so hopefully it has a better chance of not being denied? [Lastly, I suppose as a stop gap, if we can't get her page up, if anyone cares about her being listed as an alum of the workshop BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, wikipedia works by consensus. So, if someone brought it to the talk page and there were multiple of us who were in favor, then we could do it without the permission of that guy. (I'm not encouraging like ganging up on someone or anything, but just trying to bring awareness to this issue so that if anyone cares about the issue enough, then we could open up a discussion there to try to get her added to the list as a red link, since IMO, people should at least see her on the list. But best case scenario is that she just gets a page.] So, anyway, if anyone can help me make this page a reality, or if anyone can tell me if there's somewhere else I should be posting for help, if not here, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks a million! Wikipedian339 (talk) 14:02, 6 June 2024 (UTC) Good article reassessment for Mary McLeod BethuneMary McLeod Bethune has been nominated for a good article reassessment. However the mover, said they were following a convention for XXX (slave). I wondered if there had already been a discussion about this or an RfC more widely? We hope to see you there! Grnrchst (talk) 13:21, 10 September 2024 (UTC)Michael Eric DysonHello there. I am editing regarding the article on Michael Eric Dyson. I noticed some trivia about Dyson and Nancy Mace that was not sourced well, so I removed it. It was added back in with some more questionable sourcing - a Mediaite article and a youtube video. I think that according to Wikipedia policy, both of those sources are problematic, especially when no one else is reporting on the Mace/Dyson alleged interaction. I think it's too trivial to include in an encyclopedia. Please look for yourself, thank you. Oliver Phile (talk) 16:58, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
