September 27, 2013A few years ago, I created userboxes for every class in World of Warcraft at the time. Now an eleventh class exists. I'm about a year late, but better late than never....

—AugurNZ ✐ ⌕ 01:31, 28 September 2013 (UTC) September 30, 2013As an expansion of the MythBusters templates I've already provided, I've added a custom userbox template for MythBusters. Examples of how this can be used (or misused ;-)) are shown below. The existing userboxes will remain, as they are already transcluded by many (and some, like the "eyebrow" one, don't conform to the new template).

——ATinySliver/ATalkPage 05:15, 28 February 2014 (UTC) March 2, 2014Dear fellow editors, In its March 1st-7th 2014 edition, The Economist published an article (on pages 63-64) about Wikipedia: "WikiPeaks?". In this, the writer stated: "Wikipedia is starting to show the limits of the volunteer-only model, says William Beutler, the author of "The Wikipedian", a blog. The fabled grumpiness of established editors is one reason: Please do not bite the newcomers runs a reminder on its noticeboard, presumably frequently ignored. (...)". This prompted me to produce the userbox attached below (based on an existing template created by User:Scepia). I dare say it might serve as a useful reminder to us all, that we ought to ease up some, relax a little more and rekindle the enjoyment of what we do here. I therefore offer this userbox for consideration; thank you.
—ツ Pdebee. (talk) 00:23, 3 March 2014 (UTC) March 18, 2014I really liked the design of Template:User Polish, however it wasn't really for Poles but those of Polish ancestry. So - inspired by the original design - I decided to make my own version for those who were born in Poland, though in the process of making the userbox I added a humourous twist to it. Enjoy!

Some Slavic neopagans would probably find these to their liking as well - as a way to show their beliefs without being automatically associated with Neo-Nazis. There is a version for guys and a version for girls. I hope you like them! :)

I cannot find a userbox for bellringing, or specifically English style change ringing, so I made one! What do you think? BethNaught (talk) 20:21, 8 March 2014 (UTC) Perhaps instead of bellringer you could put "change ringer", or "This user enjoys English style change ringing". You have a picture of a bell to indicate what the instrument is. Bellringer makes me think of handbells (which I play). I was privileged to observe a change ringing practice in a Boston church bell tower many years ago, and anyone who can do that has a right to be proud of their craft. While customized sigs will probably cease to exist when Flow is rolled out, which will make this box obsolete, that's still pretty far off. There are already similar userboxes in the category Wikipedia:Userboxes/Location/European_Union/United_Kingdom#Flags_and_Symbols but supporters disagree on which symbol should be used or the exact design. The Welsh Dragon and the St David's Cross are suggestions on which symbol should be used (e.g. I personally prefer the design suggested by Ian Lucas in 2007 and I would like to include it in a userbox but I am not sure of its copyright status although both the dragon and the Union Flag are in the Public Domain). I based the colours on those used in the Union Jack. Tk420 (talk) 20:28, 6 February 2015 (UTC) February 8, 2015
I wanted to include my favourite variation of the Je suis Charlie logo. It features the hashtag Je suis Ahmed Merabet which was published in the Huffington Post and it is on Wikimedia Commons. In the first of my designs for today the image is of the British road sign for two way traffic crossing a one way street. I thought it would be a good metaphor for two repressed rights trying to cross a common obstacle and also thought it would look good in between two userboxes representing rights of opposing sides. The image is in the Public Domain in the United States, where Wikimedia's servers are based, but the original uploaders neglected to mention this in the file summary but I am trying to fix it. The second design has the Irish version of the sign and I though it might appeal to users in countries which have that type of sign. I have decided to group them into the section Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Issues#Rights_and_Social_Issues. The third design is for the section Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Issues#Religion_and_Politics. I noticed a userbox in favour of the ban there and I thought it was one sided. The image is of makeshift minarets in Zürich in a demonstration against the ban and is in the Public Domain. I used the colours in the info section to match the yellow used in the demonstration. My first two designs for today are for the category Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics#Democracy.2C_representation_and_voting. Although there is already a userbox for users who prefer preferential voting to first past the post but my design is for users who are open to other alternatives. As for my second design although there is already a userbox for Schulze STV I have made it for users who support no particular type of STV. Onto my next two designs, those are for users who are in favour of allowing opposite sex couples to enter a Civil Uinion, or Civil Partnership as we call them in Britain and Ireland, as well as a same sex couple. This might sound strange to those unfamiliar with the concept but this is the case in jurisdictions such as France, the Netherlands and some US states. Tk420 (talk) 21:33, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

My first design for today is based on a poster by British gay rights charity Stonewall and is for the category User:ISD/Userboxes/Sexuality#Issues_and_activism. The second is based on a You Tube video by Tom Scott and is for the category Wikipedia:Userboxes/Grammar#Singular_.27they.27. The next two are for the category Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Views#Copyright. I decided to include the fourth in that list because any changes to US copyright law would affect Wikipedia. The last two are for the category Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics#General_views as I don't know of a list for userboxes on copyright laws that do not affect Wikipedia. The colours in those boxes are based on the flags of the United States and Germany. I cannot find any Wikipedia images for the trademark symbols. Does anyone know any? I decided to make my first design for because the Council of Europe is often confused with the European Union. I would have liked to include the Council's logo in a double userbox but there is no free image available. It is for the section User:Ipatrol/Userboxes/Politics_by_country:_E-Q#European_Union_.28EU.29. I made the second design because I saw a userbox in the section Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Issues#Rights_and_Social_Issues supporting individual right over human rights and I thought it was one sided. I based the colours on the flag of Europe, representing the Coucil of Europe, and the Amnesty International logo. Tk420 (talk) 20:22, 14 February 2015 (UTC) February 15, 2015
My contribution for today is based on a common error and is for the section Wikipedia:Userboxes/Location/European Union/United Kingdom. I remember Wikipedia making this mistake on the main in the on this day feature on 17 April 2012 describing the Peak District as being the first National Park in the British Isles instead of the United Kingdom. I already knew that Killarney was the first National Park in these islands and I pointed it out on the talk page as I was unable to edit the main page myself. Since then the main correctly used the term United Kingdom. Tk420 (talk) 22:08, 15 February 2015 (UTC) March 1, 2015
My first design for today is for the category Wikipedia:Userboxes/Grammar#Commas. There already a userbox for users who only prefer to use the serial comma where its omission can be confusing but I would prefer to use it in the context in my design. The next three designs are for the category Wikipedia:Userboxes/Non-ISO_Languages/Dialects#en-us_.28American_English.29 and is for Wikipedians who do not understand US English but want a userbox without the profanity in the original. I couldn't find a userbox for collecting Mosin-Nagant rifles so I modified the UBX pistol userbox. I widened the ID area so one could actually see the photo of the Russian Mosin M44 Carbine (photo as used in the Mosin-Nagant article). I linked in the Info section to Curio & Relic Firearms collecting and to the Mosin-Nagant article. Red background because, well, it's Russian/Soviet! I also included the code that grabs the user name of the page, so on my page it says "Stargzer enjoys ..." but on this page it says, "Userboxes enjoys ... ." What would really be good for using longer images such as a rifle is a two-level userbox, with the ID and Info one on top of the other. Maybe I'll work on that some day ... Non-flammable Feedback appreciated! :-Þ —Stargzer (talk) 21:39, 15 December 2015 (UTC) December 19, 2015

I noticed there was no userbox for the number two selling tabletop RPG behind D&D 5th Ed. —Tim D. The images used in both boxes are under the GNU and Creative Commons licenses. Thoughts?

Thought I would create a userbox on Apple's latest operating system since no one currently exists. —Arbero (talk) 21:30, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Well, it seems that I couldn't find the userbox for anyone who edits videos, so I hope you don't mind if I could add one. I think it might be good if it will be placed on the Profession section, if appropriate. Thanks. —WindVee (talk) 18:22, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
March 10, 2016All my custom boxes so far:
The ones that say "Userboxes" will substitute the user name for the page they are placed on. See my user page for examples. - Tim D. Williamson yak-yak 05:11, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
