Veerle Buurman
Veerle Tooske Janna Roos Buurman (born 21 April 2006) is a Dutch football footballer who plays as a defender for PSV on loan from Chelsea. Early lifeBuurman was born on 21 April 2006 in Bemmel, the Netherlands. She has an older brother and a younger brother who both play football.[1] Club careerAs a youth player, Buurman joined the youth academy of Dutch side Sportclub Bemmel , where she played for the boys' under-17 team.[2] In 2022, she joined the youth academy of Dutch side PSV, where she started her senior career. On Two years later, she signed for English side Chelsea, before returning on loan to PSV for the 2024–25 season. International careerBuurman played for the Netherlands women's national under-20 football team for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.[3] On 29 October 2024, she debuted for the Netherlands women's national football team during a 2–1 home friendly win over the Denmark women's national football team.
