Species of flowering plant
Uvariopsis vanderystii is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family.[ 3] It is found in Cameroon , the Democratic Republic of the Congo , and Gabon .[ 1] Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests .[ 1] It is threatened by habitat loss .[ 1]
Description
U. vanderystii is a monoecious shrub,[ 4] with strictly cauliflorous inflorescences.[ 3] Its petals are joined at the base, with flowers having distinct pedicels.[ 3]
Taxonomy
U. vanderystii was first described by Robyns & Ghesq. in 1933.[ 5] [ 2]
