Nikki Phoenix

Hi there! You were both generous with your time, and helpful years ago when I asked for you help and advice. I ask you for your help, as the Nikki Phoenix article has been places up many months ago by other editors, has passed review as meeting Notability under WP:PORNBIO which it does in many areas, and has been subsequently vandalized, and then nominated for deletion by the same editor. Numerous editors have come to it's defense, clearly citing Notability across a broad spectrum, and I would ask you to goto the deletion deiscussion page, read the history check the links for yourself to see that she in fact overqualifies in 2 (not just 1) areas for Notability under WP:PORNBIO and please cast a Vote to KEEP the article so that it can continue to be worked on and grow, and so that it will not be come and example of how to Vandalize and the be able to Delete a page that many editors worked hard on. Any help you can lend would be greatly appreciated!

Idea for The Beatles (album) move review

Firstly, thank you for putting that discussion to bed. It was past time for the next step. I'll wait a while and let another user start the move review, but I wanted your opinion on a point I plan on stressing in the move review (and that nobody touched on in the discussion). Namely, WP:NATURALDIS mentions that in the presence of two common names, the one without a need for parenthetical disambiguation will be preferred (i.e. "White Album"). How suitable will that point be to the move review? Dralwik|Have a Chat 21:43, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback. I realize move review probably isn't going to change this outcome, and there isn't anything amiss with your specific closure, but I am hopeful that the heightened emphasis on policy will permit a clearer reaction to the policies in my argument without the noise over what "the proper name" would be, and give me an idea of how WP:NATURALDIS is received by the other side. My vote would likely be "overturn to relist via policy-based rationale," spelling out the relative lack of discussion on the policy merits of my idea. Dralwik|Have a Chat 02:29, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's official...

Move review for The Beatles (album)

An editor has asked for a Move review of The Beatles (album). Because you closed the move discussion for this page, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the move review. - I don't mean to disrespect you and I apologize to you if it was in any way disparaging to you on a personal level. I just think the close was not in the least bit in line with how we close move requests and how we're supposed to judge consensus here at Wikipedia. Red Slash 08:22, 15 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I have revised it, and I have added the awards. My regards.

Suelong Sae Ma

Could I get you to re-delete Suelong Sae Ma, an article you deleted per WP:BLPPROD yesterday? Less than twelve hours after deletion, someone recreated an identical, still unsourced version of the article. Thanks in advance. Sir Sputnik (talk) 16:50, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I will make an inquiry to the new creator, and allow him time to source the article, as a gesture of kindness to a newbie. If the creator doesn't respond in a reasonable time, I will re-delete. Best wishes, Xoloz (talk) 16:54, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Suelong Sae Ma

Could re-delete this article again, and possibly salt it this time. It's been recreated a second time. As before, the article is identical (or almost) to previous versions and remains unsourced. Thanks in advance. Sir Sputnik (talk) 19:38, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for missing this while I was on vacation. It seems another admin took care of it. Best wishes, Xoloz (talk) 18:15, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can I ask you to do me a favor as a 3rdparty/admin/someone-who-supported please close the 3 RMs as "withdrawn by proposer"; with blatant canvass and the Talk:Hillary Rodham Clinton factor there's no value to the community in prolonging this. Would you mind? In ictu oculi (talk) 16:37, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, then maybe I should reconsider. Thanks for that perspective. By HRC factor I evidently mean this, yet again, if it isn't obvious. After such a heavy canvass in recent edits the well is poisoned whatever the result. But I suppose it can take it's course and some other poor admin will wrap it up when it clogs the backlog. No big issue either way, it's of minimal utility compared to creating content. Thanks again, appreciated it. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:10, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel Dombrowe

Dear Xoloz, I would kindly ask you to explain why you deleted the article about Daniel Dombrowe. There is no such thing as the promotion of himself as an entrepreneur nor as himself as the DJ. The main focus of this article lies on Mr Dombrowes efforts regarding the Baltic Soul Charity. A charity founded to support artists who have been betrayed by their management. This is an importand topic to Mr Dombrowe, to the artists and of course to a lot of people and Wikipedia Users. I would like to ask you for advice on how this article can be written to avoid any thoughts of promotion and on how it is possible to introduce Mr Dombrowe as a really important person in music business. Hi Xoloz. A while back you opposed my nomination for speedy deletion of the page Keith Loris. CCing @Ronz:, who was subsequently involved in wikifying that page. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 22:01, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As sourced, I think it is at high risk for deletion. With only those sources, the article seems undue with that amount of content. --Ronz (talk) 22:17, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nikki Phoenix

Hi Xoloz, hope things are well with you, I wanted to touch bases with you, and ask you if you could please check the article you moved into my sandbox regarding singer/writer/actress Nikki Phoenix, I refocused the article on her mainstream endeavors as you suggested to avoid the stygma of the adult business associations, as she now has an Album as well as songs out (available on iTunes, Amazon Etc.) and a book as well as numerous other accomplishments and awards nominations. I strongly feel that she more than meets requirements for Notability, but would love for you to check the article and see if it is good enough now or if I need to source more reference materiel.

Thanks again for encouraging me to work on the article more and not to be discouraged by some of the other editors I have interfaced with. Art javier (talk) 18:13, 24 December 2014 (UTC)Art_Javier sandbox 20:21, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity

Information icon Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in more than one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e. as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised, that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions, and that you have not been inactive for a three-year period of time). If you remain inactive for a three-year period of time, including the present year you have been inactive, you will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFA. You deleted my page "Les Enfants Terribles (café)"

Hi. Just discovered you deleted my page. I haven't logged in since creating it so I was never informed of the threat. You admit to a cursory investigation - and yes, my problem has been the paucity of information. I do now have some external links which will prove it existed if that's your beef? I really don't understand the problem. Obviously I am the primary source for a lot of information as this is something I've been researching for some years now. The interest is the key role the coffee bar played - it now looks to be the second espresso bar and the first discothèque in London. So can the page be retrieved or resurrected or will I have to create a new page? The wiki entry is quite important for obtaining contacts - Google's been a great help. It's difficult to know how interesting any subject may be outside the circle of those interested, right?

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Etherkiller requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. scope_creepTalk 09:07, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
