Image copyright problem with File:Folklore of Discworld.jpgThanks for uploading File:Folklore of Discworld.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), For more information on using images, see the following pages: This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 07:45, 6 April 2009 (UTC) The Despair SquidHi Magnius, I'm a little confused as to why you're pointing the despair squid to Back to Reality. The episode doesn't actually discuss the creature in any way, shape or form, besides mentioning that it exists. I don't see how piping the link is appropriate. I personally don't think it should be linked, but rather the episode title should be. -- WORMMЯOW 14:22, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
talkie toasterThe reference to Doctor Who is actually very relevant as a reference to popular culture. 121.209.147.218 (talk) 10:11, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Non Free Images in your User SpaceHey there Worm That Turned, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free files are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some images that I found on User:Worm That Turned/Sharps. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use images to your user-space drafts or your talk page. See a log of images removed today here, shutoff the bot here and report errors here. Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 04:58, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
Reviewer grantedHello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010. Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages. For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here. If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Calmer Waters 11:07, 13 August 2010 (UTC) Wikipedia:Pending changes/Vote commentAs you commented in the pending closure discussion I am notifying you that the Wikipedia:Pending changes/Vote comment is now open and will be for two weeks, discussion as required can continue on the talkpage. Thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 23:36, 21 August 2010 (UTC) BLP violationsIt would be great if we could avoid WP:BLP violations, e.g., unsourced measurements/height/weight/date of birth [1]. Thanks! Catherine of ValoisI think the inconsistency I was flagging on this page was something different -- it used to claim both that she did marry Owen Tudor and that it's unknown whether she did or not. But that problem seems to have gone too, so I'm happy that the tag can be removed. Thanks for checking. Mhardcastle (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 09:36, 1 September 2010 (UTC). The DYK project (nominate) 00:03, 6 September 2010 (UTC) Hi, I don't understand that at all. "Position" in what sense? Position amongst the words in the sentence? Position in some hierarchy of parts of speech? If you understand it, which it seems you do, perhaps you would be able to clarify it in the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.151.35.79 (talk) 13:47, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Please provide a reliable and verifiable source stating that Miley Cyrus' character's name in Bolt is something other than Penny, which is presented both in the movie and in its end credits. Any future attempts to add this information without a source will be considered vandalism and handled accordingly. Thank you. --McDoobAU93 22:02, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Gladiator screenshotThanks for your help with giving me the scene in which the "We who are about to die..." line is spoken. It saved me a lot of time finding it. I just uploaded the file here. Thanks, again. Dismas|(talk) 05:44, 12 November 2010 (UTC) Oh, yes, I did something for that artcle. I remember I was searching for some information about Space rock, Tangerine Dream, Popol Vuh, Hawkwind, Gong, ... but I found nothing until I discovered it in the content of an old version of Kosmische musik and decided to restore it. I don't remember what I did exactly, but I will check out the article history very soon and hope to participate to the discussion. Anyway, I'm here just to say thank you for the advice. I really appreciate it! Cheers. –pjoef (talk • contribs) 15:06, 16 November 2010 (UTC) DYK nomination of HMS Whiting (1812)Hello! The article Doom Bar you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Doom Bar for things which need to be addressed. Materialscientist (talk) 00:03, 28 November 2010 (UTC) ChileHi, just wondering, what is going on there, are you reverting vandalism or have you got citation to support your change? I don't think pending is working very well there, never mind, it looks alright now, thanks. Off2riorob (talk) 14:00, 7 December 2010 (UTC) Doom Bar PRGlad my comments are helpful. I did not do a line by line review as I figured things would change with a copyedit, plus some newer sources will hopefully turn up more interesting facts. Please ask if you want me to take another look, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 15:59, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

The DYK project (nominate) 06:04, 11 December 2010 (UTC) All Day transcriptionThanks for doing the infographic transcription. Gillis just wrote me and he said that he has a timing list, but he has to format it and he does not know when he will have time to deal with it. Since you looked thoroughly at the Fastcompany data, let me know if you learned something about it that I do not know. It seems obvious to me that however they got the track timing data, they did not get it from Wikipedia. I assume they just used Wikipedia as a starting point then independently verified everything they did, but the data is very different and I see no reason to call it a circular reference. Assistance requestWormTT, I do need some assistance. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I don't understand why to leave a message one is supposed to edit the person's talk page. You did I warrent such a welcome? --Paragoalie (talk) 17:14, 4 January 2011 (UTC) I fixed a few typos in this article. I'm envious of your ability to quickly précis a mass of refs into a reasonable article, though. Takes me ages :( —SMALLJIM 17:01, 7 January 2011 (UTC) Thanks!!!Thanks for your welcome friend. See i love Grand Theft Auto IV and that's why I can't see its image going down. The awards won by Gta IV are "Game of the year" awards but they are edited as "Action game of the year" awards. There is a big difference between the two. The reviews are also mostly of PC version instead of PS3/Xbox 360 version which represent the game. So please if you can do anything about it, I would be very grateful to you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gta4best (talk • contribs) 17:25, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
Gta IV Reliable sourcesI am providing you with a link "www.gotypicks.blogspot.com". This site records Game of the year picks of various websites. So when you visit the site, go to "2008" link for 2008 GOTY awards and you will get all the links of Game of the year awards won by GTA IV. That site doesn't have 2 GOTY awards, one of "Electronic Gaming Monthly" and the other of "Atomic Gamer". For these 2 you may search on Google to verify. Thanks friend!!!Gta4best (talk) 18:11, 7 January 2011 (UTC) DYK nomination of The Mousehole CatHello! Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:25, 7 January 2011 (UTC) I've offered a (rather lengthy, sorry!) review. Love the article, and I'd love to see it promoted to good (or even featured) article status. J Milburn (talk) 02:31, 8 January 2011 (UTC) Thanks!!!!!!That blog is obviously not a reliable source by wikipedia standards, but the individual site links on that blog are the reliable sources.Gta4best (talk) 06:15, 8 January 2011 (UTC) Well done for GAsHi. Well done for getting Doom Bar (one of my favourite beers too!) through to GA and getting clotted cream and Stargazy pie up to standard for the GA process. Perhaps if we get another article up to GA then we could suggest a Cornish cuisine Good Topic. With all your great work on these Cornish articles, have you considered joining WikiProject Cornwall? We could use an editor like you and you'll find us a friendly bunch! Thanks for your reply, but not surprisingly (due to lack of information about long ongoing past history) you have been distracted from the point. I am fed up with Danjel. I (and numerous others) have been polite, reasonable, rational, tolerant and civil to him on many occasions. We have all wasted our time - Danjel does not read what has been written, and goes to tortuos efforts to avoid anything relevant that does not match his own view of the world. I want nothing to do with him. I want him to get out of my life, and stay out of my life. Permanently. Hence, I will ask again: "What are my options with respect to a nuisance editor who repeatedly places "stuff" on my talk page despite repeated requests for him not to, and despite repeated statements that he is not welcome here?" Thanks, Pdfpdf (talk) 14:52, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
