Hello, Worldish2024, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Below are some pages you might find helpful. For a user-friendly interactive help forum, see the Wikipedia Teahouse.
and check out the Task Center, for ideas about what to work on.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to ask me on my talk page or place {{Help me}} on this page and someone will drop by to help. Again, welcome! Volten001☎18:49, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your signature on the open letter
Hi, Worldish2024. I'm afraid I had to remove your signature on the open letter, since it was misspelt ("Worlsish") and consequently was a red link which didn't lead to your userpage. I didn't feel right about simply correcting the spelling, since it's your signature. Also, the signature should preferably contain a talkpage link and a timestamp, as the others do. The best way to get all this correct without any risk of typos is to simply type four tildes, ~~~~, as the "Welcome" section above also advises you. Good luck. 1. It's ok. You can correct my spelling! Sometimes I mistype. It happens all the time and it's very common in people who type fast. So it's ok to correct anyone's spelling, even mine!^^
Oh yeah. I signed the open letter again, this time with the date, time, and the CORRECT spelling of my username! So there shouldn't be a red link in there now. Also, would you like to know how I came up with my username? Bella. (talk) 04:00, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Does anyone want me to sign their Guestbook and in return you can sign mine? (I don't have a Guestbook but I really wanna have one like the others!) Bella. (talk) 04:18, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello there. I looked at some of your contributions after I found you on my guestbook (for the record, boba refers to bubble tea and/or the tapioca pearls in it, not boobs) and I have some concerns regarding how you are using Wikipedia. You seem to be using Wikipedia as a host for your personal diary, as well as a social networking site, both of which are not allowed (also, I wouldn’t recommend hosting your diary here even if it was allowed, due to the public nature of Wikipedia.) If you’re editing Wikipedia, you should be helping to create/expand/protect the encyclopedia, any other use of Wikipedia risks you being blocked for not being here to build an encyclopedia. If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to ask. If you are interested in building the encyclopedia, we would love to have you here. Hello, and welcome to the December newsletter, a quarterly digest of Guild activities since September. If you no longer want this newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time; see below. If you'd like to be notified of upcoming drives and blitzes, and other GOCE activities, the best method is to add our announcements box to your watchlist.
Election news: The Guild's coordinators play an important role in the WikiProject, making sure nearly everything runs smoothly and on time. Editors in good standing (unblocked and without sanctions) are invited to nominate themselves or another editor to be a Guild coordinator (with their permission, of course) until 23:59 on 15 December (UTC). The voting phase begins at 00:01 on 16 December and runs until 23:59 on 31 December. Questions may be asked of candidates at any stage in the process. Elected coordinators will serve a six-month term from 1 January through 30 June.
Drive: In our September Backlog Elimination Drive, 67 editors signed up, 39 completed at least one copy edit, and between them they edited 682,696 words comprising 507 articles. Barnstars awarded are here.
Blitz: The October Copy Editing Blitz saw 16 editors sign-up, 15 of whom completed at least one copy edit. They edited 76,776 words comprising 35 articles. Barnstars awarded are here.
Drive: In our November Backlog Elimination Drive, 432,320 words in 151 articles were copy edited. Of the 54 users who signed up, 33 copy edited at least one article. Barnstars awarded are posted here.
Blitz: The December Blitz will begin at 00:00 on 15 December (UTC) and will end on 21 December at 23:59. Sign up here. Barnstars awarded will be posted here.
Progress report: As of 22:12, 7 December 2024 (UTC), GOCE copy editors have completed 333 requests since 1 January, and the backlog of tagged articles stands at 2,401 articles.
Thank you all again for your participation; we wouldn't be able to achieve what we have without you! Cheers from your GOCE coordinators, Dhtwiki, Miniapolis, Mox Eden and Wracking.

A {{help me}} request is kind of a one-shot; the first helper that sees it will respond, close it, and you won't get much more in the way of replies unless they are watching the conversation. You are rather vague with your request, so I will be rather hand-wavey in my response to it. If you just want to request an article be written, there is WP:RA. If you want to ask people who are interested in the subject or related, ask at the talk page of a WikiProject (I do not know who Lopez is or what she does, so you'll have to find a specific WikiProject yourself, but I would at the very least suggest WP:WPWIR). If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. One more thing, that neither Primefac nor I mentioned in our initial (simultaneous) responses...
Based on your user page, it appears you may be wanting to write a biographical page about yourself. While you are allowed to create a draft about yourself, writing about yourself on Wikipedia is strongly discouraged. Please see WP:Autobiography for more information. — jmcgnh(talk)(contribs)20:17, 12 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
