Thanks for uploading File:Uk censud 2011.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
Exactly WHY did you revert my edit to Mad_Lib???? I made the page display the full sentence, not just the disembodied words. Just because I used the word "try" in my explanation??? (This was my third (non-cancelled) attempt at fixing the buggered formatting, so I was still thinking "try".)
(I also don't believe in leaving responses on IP-user pages, even if that's where you left me a message, and asked for a response there.)173.206.181.232 (talk) 09:44, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi Wintonian! Thank you for recent changes patrolling - your efforts are much appreciated. This is just to let you know that you shouldn't really have reverted this edit, as it was on Frostyboy27's user page. Warning messages should go on user talk pages, not user pages. Also, the warning you re-instated didn't have any context, so it is hard to link it to a specific event that could have warranted a final warning with no other warnings present... Could you give me any clues as to what the problem is? If you can I shall try and help you to the best of my ability. All the best. — Mr. Stradivarius♫15:47, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
True and apologies, I was going to delve further into it not having time at that point, as it somewhat intrigued me that we had two users who seemed to rather fun of removing the warning from each other’s user/ talk page for some inexplicable reason, I can see that you later looked into it yourself, did you uncover a reason for the spat? --Wintonian (talk) 20:46, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
No worries - actually I was at a loss to the cause of this one too. It looks like it centered around the article UFC 131, but other than that I have no idea. I don't think it's a particular problem unless it flares up again - let me know if you spot anything. — Mr. Stradivarius♫21:02, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, Just quickly looking at the edits of that article it seems one user was quite fond of inserting "Carwin has confirmed that he will win in round 6 by KO (rabbit punch)." and the other quite keen on removing it, so I'd take a guess on it being male bravado with each supporting the other contender. --Wintonian (talk) 21:09, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
Hi again Wintonian! Sorry, but I removed your comment to Blinking12 (talk·contribs) from my talk page. I don't really think WP:OWN fits this situation, because Blinking12 isn't exactly trying to control the article. Rather, they appear to be claiming credit for the article text, which is more of a copyright problem. I'm treading softly here, because this could have wider consequences - probably the best thing to do is to wait and see if they reply to my message or if they make any more stray edits. I've also left a message about this at Wikipedia talk:Copyright problems#Business_broker. — Mr. Stradivarius♫04:00, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
That WP:DOLT piece was rather useful (and an easier read than most) and your comments at Wikipedia talk:Copyright problems (why no short link?) explained the issue for me, thanks. Ok I’ll sit back and let the big boys play with this, whilst watching and learning. Though if there are questions about copyrighted material and where it should be referenced to then shouldn’t it be kept out until this has been established? A bit difficult if they are referring to the whole article though. Anyway again thanks for that, there’s always something to learn around here. --Wintonian (talk) 04:29, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Well-spotted. That looks like it should go in the copyright problems thread - I'll add it now. — Mr. Stradivarius♫
The Types of services that a broker can provide section seems to be a substantial copy of [[2]], I believe this was the website (www.citizeneagle.com) that they wanted to insert, I'll remove, it can always be put back and tagged if you would rather. So they seem to be saying that possibly quite a bit has been copied and not just the first sentence/ paragraphs. --Wintonian (talk) 06:04, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
I have removed quite a bit more stuff that was substantially similar to sections of [[3]]. Have a look through and see if I missed anything if you so wish. --Wintonian (talk) 07:04, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Haha, I'm not so sure about being a "big boy", but thanks! Yes, of course you are right, it should be kept out of the article. I didn't revert that last one because I was about to break WP:3RR. (I know copyright violations are one of the exemptions, but it doesn't look like the text Blinking12 added in their recent edit was copyrighted at all.) I don't think we can take out the offending text until we know what it actually is, so waiting seems the best policy for now. Also, I'll be watching this page for a while now, so you won't have to use any more talkback templates. Thanks for keeping an eye on this. — Mr. Stradivarius♫04:49, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Dongfang Bubai, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Wintonian (talk) 10:56, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, I forgot to log in while doing the edit.
The reason I did not put reference to it was because it was obvious to naked eye. Prior to my edit, there is already the reference that Tohofuhai (東方不敗) is perhaps a homage to Master Asia who is known as Tohofuhai (東方不敗). In resulting wiki link, it was shown that the name was borrowed from the original (and copyrighted) character Dongfang Bubai(東方不敗)from Chinese martial art novel "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer" written in 1967. The fact that the Kanji(Chinese Character) that was used for Tohofuhai (東方不敗) in Rosario+Vampire is exactly the same should be a dead giveaway and not to mention it is one of most recognized fictional character Chinese character-using world. And if you look at Dongfang Bubai wiki page, it also listed Rosario character as one of the character that barrows the name's Japanese synonym. In addition the said character in Rosario is also of Chinese descent and series also has another Chinese character name Fei-Fong Wong (黄飛鴻) Who uses the name of a well-known, real-live Chinese martial artist Huang Fei-hung/Wong Fei-hung (黄飛鴻) who is consider a modern folk hero from the late Chin Dynasty. My addition did not make any direct claim, only point out an obvious synonym on what is already on the page and a known information (ie, Master Asia derived his nickname from Dongfang Bubai) I feel that the need for reference in this case is not needed, because it's like asking reference on whether nor not Cyclops' (Marvel Comic) name is derived from creature cyclops from the Greek myth.
Fine, perhaps I should have looked more closely at the context, I'll remove the note in case you forget to log in again with the same ip. Using edit summarys does help though WP:ES--Wintonian (talk) 12:52, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Thank you, I'll keep that in mind. Also, I just added Chinese characters for Dongfang Bubai for easier comparison in the future. Taker128 (talk) 13:04, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Deletion of Ink stick
Ink stick is a disambiguation page that directs a user to either one of two more specific articles. You did not specify the reason for why you proposed the page for deletion. If you do not have any comments, I will remove your deletion nomination. -- Sjschen (talk) 17:49, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
I could not get needed answers from the user deleted my article.
My article is deleted. How can I request for a feedback? Deleting does not really work for an improvement. Thank you.Aysinpir (talk) 15:28, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
The deleting admin has left some good advice on your talk page, mainly that your article came across as promotional and to have a look at WP:1ST. In answer to your question you have a copy that you created in your user space here: User:Aysinpir/Bilkent Erzurum, I would suggest putting a request into WP:RFF so the people over there can look over it and give you their thoughts and advice. It's quite good for a first article, referencing more, picking out the important bits and wording it so it comes across as less promotional will help. Good luck. --wintoniantalk15:44, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Can I add photos to my userspace draft?
Hi Wintonian,
It is possible to add photos on the article while it is a userspace draft? If it is possible how can I add these photos. In the information article (about adding photos) I could not understand opening a new profile for the photos part. How is the process? What should I do to add photos. Can you please inform me?
Yes you can as long as the image has an appropriate copyright licence or you can produce evidence of permission to use. Firstly you need to read WP:IUP & WP:FIT which detail the policy and explain how to find appropriate images. WP:IMAGE and WP:UPI describe the process of using images once a suitable one has been found. But please note images without an appropriate licence or permission will be deleted. Hope that helps. --wintoniantalk10:16, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
I'm not quite sure what you mean, if you mean you have created an article and wish to know if other people can edit it, then yes of course they can Wikipedia is an open encyclopaedia that anyone can edit. --wintoniantalk13:24, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
