But, i just need to point you to this link, specifically the second point in paragraph 4.2.2 Guidelines and policies: A customised signature should provide an easily-identified link to your talk page. You are encouraged to also provide a link to your user page, because i note that your signature currently doesn't have either such link. Perhaps you could correct this? Hello, I assume you're talking about Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Halfway (2009 film) (which I have hopefully fixed). I used Twinkle to automate it, and it seems that it didn't link my user page. Do you know what I did wrong or if there are any workarounds? Why? I Ask 15:22, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
Yes, that's where i saw it. But, if you notice, on this page there is no link on your signature, either. Are you using four tildes "~~~~" to sign? If you are, then you should go to Special:Preferences and change the signature there making sure that there's a link in it. Sorry, i didn't answer your second question: Twinkle just takes your signature as defined in your preferences and uses it. Absent any weird runtime errors (and i've never seen it make this error) it simply signs exactly as you yourself would by typing the four tildes. happy days, LindsayHello 16:01, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
It seems that (preferences) may have been the case, although I do not recall ever tampering with it. Having the box unchecked should work now. Thank you for your help : ) Why? I Ask (talk) 16:18, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

your TfD nomination

I noticed User:ProcrastinatingReader closed your nomination of Template:Extended techniques as no consensus despite me commenting that all this relisting should not obscure the fact nobody bothered to oppose your nomination. Also it was a WP:NACD despite the close call. While I appreciate the name/action synergy of the procrastination that took place here, if you should decide to re-nominate WhyIAsk, feel free to ping me and I'll actively support your nomination just out of principle, ensuring that relisting and technicalities won't stand in your way - only actively opposing comments will.
