Thanks so much for your help! Is there anything in old newspapers available online for Mildred Sledge (Draft:Mildred Sledge). I'm not even sure it isn't a pseudonym but I thought I saw somewhere she was a secretary..

The other person I'm curious about is Juanita Pitts a.k.a. Junaita Pitter Patter Pitts. If there's some coverage I will start a draft on her otherwise I thInk she can be smerged into It Happened in Harlem, an extant film in which she performs.

Draft:George Wiltshire and Draft:Edward Thompson (actor) would also benefit from some sprucing but both meet notability criteria as I understand them and have seen them adjudicated. FloridaArmy (talk) 20:28, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

@FloridaArmy: From a very quick glance, I see some stuff on Edward Thompson but not much for Juanita Pitts in old newspapers. Thanks for bringing them up - It might take a bit more to find stuff on the women if they were written about under their husband's name ("Mrs. Husband's First and Last Name", which seemed to be pretty common pre-WWII). @FloridaArmy: Woof. I was gone a long time. Moving turned into holidays... turned into the new year... turned into new work... Haha, well, I think I’m finally back, and I had some time to do some research.
Here’s what I’ve found (although it looks like some of your articles have already made it into main space, yay!):
Mildred Sledge I couldn't find much on in historical newspapers. But it seems she's in mainspace now, so I'm glad you were able to put that together :)
Juanita Pitts was a tricky one to research. I think there is enough out there out there, so I started Draft:Juanita Pitts - I didn't format the citations and left it pretty rough from just my notes, because I don't have access to my Wiki Library Card at the moment. But the consensus I saw in the sources I found about her was... She isn’t really written about. Contemporary tap dancers have pointed to her saying she was an important tap dancer, but in the same breath they’re saying she isn't well known now, and she wasn’t necessarily famous during her life, much like other female black tapsters of that time. I found a lot of passing/trivial mentions about her, a few mentions of contemporary performances making tributes to her, but books were the only sources I saw that gave more than a passing mention. So, I think in modern times, she is notable but obscure.
Out of sources I can’t find/access about Pitts, there’s apparently at least one Temple University dissertation about female tap dancers that has info on Juanita Pitts (mentioned here) and an unpublished paper about her life specifically ("Juanita Pitts: Race, Gender and the Female Hoofer") that was presented at the American Dance Festival. (Mentioned here). Also, I left out that she was called "Pitter Patter" Pitts, because I couldn't find mentions of that except in It Happened in Harlem (maybe that was the stage name she used specifically for the film?).
I also found stuff on Edward Thompson, but I'll go ahead and add those sources directly to that draft.

It is absolutely impossible for him to have falsified his story. In addition I have a mountain of supporting information to support his story and his integrity.

The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.

We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.

I think the scandals and political positions are either from credible source or directly from his own campaign video. And I just fully use the sentences of original sources as much as possible. So I think I follows the rules, If you think it isn't, instead of just deleting please change into what you think obeys the rule.

@Geeky1127: That's not how WP:BLP issues work - if there is problematic material on Wikipedia on a biography of a living person, it should be deleted, discussed and fixed on the talk page, before adding it back to the article. It's not meant to stay in the article until someone has enough time to fix errors - things should be accuate and neutral if they're going to be included in an encyclopedia article. I didn't actually do a full review but it was clearly a decent attempt at showing notability so definitely worth a punt and 1000% more decent than the initial submit I reviewed. With historical politicians I will do the digging and expand there minimal submits, but modern bios aren't my thing so thanks for the effort regardless if it's an accept or decline. Good effort should always be appreciated. The only thing I would say form a quick look is the expanded discography certainly makes them look possible more notable, but the unsourced items could do with a source. Hello,

This is Lizbet1 (Paola Curcio-Kleinman) - I am the head of Public Relations for the NYU School of Professional Studies and have been trying to fix gross in accuracies on the NYU School of Professional Studies Wikipedia page. There are a large number of department and degree programs that no longer exist, names of departments that are incorrect and blatant mistakes about the audience the School is now serving. It seems that I have made the edit and they have all been reverted back. I am not being paid to make these edits. The information is totally incorrect and I would be remiss in my duties to allow it to remain that way. In addition, the errors in current degrees and programs offered could be a problem in our academic standing with the state. Is there something else I need to do to make these edits? Yes, she was quite the leader. She seemed to single-handedly keep the school afloat, running around the country and raising funds. At least one source I saw said she traveled to a different state just to learn brick-making (or brick-laying?), because she wanted to know how to better teach the boys at her school.
I wonder if she shouldn't have a separate article? I'm not sure how much to include about her in the school's article; it seemed like she did a lot of things outside of her official school-principal duties (although most of what she's known for is her work for the school), but it is harder to find info on what she did/her life outside of the school. - Whisperjanes (talk) 04:01, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
I would include as much as you can on her. When it is too much we can split her off innher own entry. It always makes me shake my head that I'm pushed to merge and told subjects aren't independly notaboe and when I work on a combined entry I'm told it isn't clear which subject it's about. Then there's the perennial the entry should be about their work and not the person and vis versa. Smh. Wouldn't be much of a school without her and I'm not sure how notable she'd be without the school? Chicken and egg stuff. Thanks for your efforts. I am enjoying reading more about her from what you've uncovered and I hope others will as well. I need to add back content I inckuded that was misguidedly removed.. Party on. Hi Whoisjohngalt! Thanks for adding some categories and your help. I'm a bit confused by your suggestion, however, so I ask that you please check out WP:LDRHOW or WP:LDR.
Just to clarify: my citations are still there, just with named references being used instead, and the full references being moved to the bottom. If you look at the article (not in edit view), you'll see that the citations are still formatted normally. I tend to do this with articles I start because it's cleaner when editing the article later. Personally, I'd wait until some others are able to edit for more NPOV in the article, and give it a bit more time (for example, it seems like one editor is removing and adjusting more content at the moment), but it's completely up to you.
