Hi thanks for your contribution on CFS. I thought it might be helpful to draw your attention to a limitation of the citation function in PubMed which makes it somewhat unreliable. PubMed relies on the full text deposition into PMC (PubMed commons). So only PMC sources are shown as citations. This only applies to certain open access journals or where deposition is mandated by the NIH. So you end up with a limited number of the citations. None of the citations trackers are perfect but PubMed always misses a lot. E.g. Nature/Cell/Science for example would not typically be counted unless it was past embargo and NIH funded. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego Belfast anyway?

Hey. Just to let you know, I've undone your edit on Killing of Brianna Ghey. There's a rather long and tumultuous history behind this, but for simplicity's sake, while Belfast is on the island of Ireland, it is not part of the country of Ireland. Belfast is in Northern Ireland, which is currently part of the United Kingdom. Because of this weird quirk of national boarders, the only vigil for Brianna in Ireland was the one in Dublin. By phrasing it as vigils were held across the United Kingdom and Ireland in the week, it's misleading because no other Irish cities or towns had an organised vigil.

Its bonkers, and even as a Northern Irish native it can be confusing to get your head around. No joke, you should see the trouble we have with getting parcels posted to us by small shops and eBay sellers in the UK, as they all love to say "sorry, we don't ship to Ireland". Even when a seller is using Royal Mail it's a coin flip as to whether or not you can actually convince them to ship an item you buy. Sideswipe9th (talk) 22:04, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. This is also sometimes why you might see something phrased as "across Great Britain and Ireland", whether in one of our articles or in a source. GB refers specifically to the island that contains England, Scotland, and Wales, and Ireland in that context refers to the island and not the country. My Wikipedia Activity

Let me introduce myself. I have a degree on cybersecurity (protection of information).

On Wikipeida, I mostly edit medicine-related articles.

I participiate in editing medical Wikipeida pages since 28 June 2009 edit of Trimethylaminuria.

The areas where I mostly participate is on steroids (such as cortisol), steroidogenic enzymes (such as SRD5A1), inborn errors of steroid metabolism such as glucocorticoid deficiency and androgen excess.

I also edit articles on pharmaceutical drugs such as ketotifen or medical devices such as drug-eluting stent.

I have declared a conflict of interest related to certain software products and companies listed in a box on this page, because I participated in the development of said products. I also declared a conflict of interest related to certain medical conditions listed in a box on this page, because I filed a patent application 17/590,784 | 1309.002US: Method of treating late-onset congenital adrenal hyperplasia due to 21-hydroxylase deficiency by individually tailored glucocorticoid regimen.

Due to the conflict of interest related to congenital adrenal hyperplasia, I decided not to edit pages related to this condition. However, some pages in which I participated were almost ready for review. However, my understanding that once I have conflict of interest, I should not edit content of these pages, instead, I have to ask people on the Talk page to make modifications that I ask. Also, my understanding that updating attributes of existing references such as via the citation bot or IABot does not trigger the violation of the rule of conflict of interest.

In the future, if you nominate another article for GA and nobody picks it for a long time, please let me know if you wish I review it to check whether it meets GA criteria. Thank you!

The article that was almost ready for review was Congenital adrenal hyperplasia due to 21-hydroxylase deficiency. Can I ask you for help: if I nominate it for GA and the reviewer ask to edit it, I will help you in the talk page to edit so it could finally meet the GA criteria? If you think that the article is very long from being GA-compliant, please also let me know, so I will not nominate it, but in this case please write on the talk page on why it is too long from being GA-compliant, so other users could take this article and improve it and then will nominate if they become top contributors.
